  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make the Well-fed Bosun salad with red caviar, salmon and squid? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace boiled squid with canned ones. You can use any red fish, not just salmon: trout, chum salmon, sockeye salmon, pink salmon, etc. Lightly salted or smoked. You need large, selected eggs. If the eggs are small, take 3 pieces.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the squid from the skin, internal films, remove the chitinous plate and entrails. Rinse thoroughly. If the squids are frozen, defrost them first, but not completely - frozen squids are easier to clean. Boil the squid in salted boiling water for 1-2 minutes, no longer, otherwise they will become rubbery and tasteless. Cool the finished squids and cut into strips.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Mix chopped squid with 1 tsp. mayonnaise.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cut lightly salted salmon into strips.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Grate the cheese on a fine or medium grater. The cheese can be anything. The main thing is that it is tasty, fresh and aromatic. I have an ordinary Russian one. You can replace the hard one with processed “Friendship” type, as well as mozzarella, feta or cottage cheese.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Hard boil the eggs, cool and peel. Grate the eggs on a fine or medium grater.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

You can simply combine all the ingredients in a salad bowl and mix. For festive serving, I advise you to form the salad in layers in a culinary ring. Place a culinary ring (Ø 12 cm) on a plate. Place lightly salted red fish in the first layer and pour mayonnaise over it.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Next, distribute the grated eggs and also pour mayonnaise over them.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the squid in the next layer. There is no need to top them with mayonnaise.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

    Next, spread the grated cheese.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Place red caviar in a heap on the cheese in the center. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to soak. Remove the cooking ring before serving.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Serve the salad, garnished with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
