    Onions in the salad are not used raw, but fried. How to fry onions? Peel it, then cut it into half rings. Heat a frying pan over high heat, pour oil into it, and add onion. Fry it until lightly browned. There is no need to fry the onion until cooked; it should remain slightly crispy.

    Prepare egg pancakes. How to make pancakes? Break the eggs into a deep bowl. Add flour, starch and a pinch of salt. Whisk the mixture until smooth.

    Heat the frying pan over high heat, lightly grease it with vegetable oil (if required, it is not necessary for a non-stick coating) and pour the dough into the frying pan in parts (a ladle at a time). Fry the pancake on both sides until golden brown. When the pancake is ready, remove it from the pan onto a plate and let cool. Also fry the remaining pancakes from the entire batter. I got four thin pancakes.

I prepared a mystery salad for guests with egg pancakes. The guests were truly surprised by the harmonious taste of this salad. To prepare the salad, I did not boil the chicken breast, but baked it with spices and mustard. After cooling, the breast was well cut into cubes. I got 5 egg pancakes. They came out thin and easily rolled into a roll, which I cut into ribbons. I fried the onion and added it to the bowl with the chicken, cucumbers and pancakes. All that remains is to add mayonnaise and mix. I also salted and peppered the salad. It’s really best to mix with two forks, so the ingredients don’t stick together. At the same time, almost all the mayonnaise was absorbed into the pancakes). The salad turned out delicious, satisfying with fresh notes! To suit my taste, I would replace the fried onions with pickled ones. I think it would be juicier that way. But it’s also delicious with fried onions, it gives a hint of sweetness and goes well with chicken and pancakes.
