STEP 1
How to bake rainbow trout in foil with mushrooms in the oven? Prepare all products according to the list. It is better to use freshly caught trout, then the finished dish will be especially tender and juicy. If you have fish from the freezer, take it out in advance and defrost it at room temperature until completely thawed. Clean the trout from scales, remove the entrails and remove the gills. Wash the carcasses thoroughly under running cold water and dry with paper towels.
STEP 2
Rinse and dry the champignons. There should be no excess water on the mushrooms, otherwise they will not be fried, but will be stewed later. Cut the champignons into thin slices. Peel the onion and cut into thin feathers. Fry the mushrooms and onions in a small amount of vegetable oil until golden brown.
STEP 3
Place foil on a flat surface and coat it with a thin layer of butter. Place fish on top.
STEP 4
Stuff the trout with mushroom filling. Sprinkle the required amount of salt on top of the carcass. Pepper to taste and add your favorite dry spices. It can be all kinds of dry herbs, a mixture of ground peppers and others. Sprinkle freshly squeezed lemon juice on top.

Time and temperature depend on the features of your oven. I usually need 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees, top-bottom mode.
