  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a quick kefir pie? Measure out the required ingredients. You can take kefir of any fat content. Remove it from the refrigerator in advance to allow it to come to room temperature. Use unscented vegetable oil.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Mix wheat flour with baking powder and sift through a sieve. This will enrich the flour with oxygen and will help the cake rise better during baking. The finished pie will be more fluffy.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Combine eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. Instead of vanilla sugar, you can use vanillin (at the tip of a knife). In this case, mix vanillin with flour in step 2.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer until fluffy and light.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add kefir, mix with a whisk. The mixer can no longer be used.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Pour in vegetable oil, stir.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add flour sifted with baking powder.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Mix everything until you obtain a homogeneous dough with the consistency of thin sour cream.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Pour the dough into a baking dish. Any heat-resistant form will do. If you use a silicone mold, there is no need to coat it with butter or margarine. But it is better to lightly grease metal, ceramic or glass dishes with vegetable oil so that the baked goods do not burn. I used a mold with a diameter of 22 cm.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 C for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Check the readiness of the pie with a skewer. It should come out of the middle dry, without any traces of dough. Baking times and conditions may vary. Be sure to consider the operating features of your oven.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Let the finished pie cool. If desired, you can quickly decorate the top of the cake with melted chocolate or frosting. Or just lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar. I also used what I had on hand - marshmallows. Bon appetit!

I love baking with kefir, so I started looking for a corresponding recipe on the website. I needed a pie of impressive size to serve tea for a large group. And so as not to bother too much) A quick kefir pie is perfect for this! Based on the number of ingredients indicated, it is clear that the pie will be large, but I additionally added half the portion so that I could knead the dough for three eggs. With a special calculator it is very simple. All products were taken at room temperature. The dough is kneaded quickly and without any problems, I was pleased) From the description it is clear that the recipe is basic, so I added black currants to the pie on my own. To do this, I took some currants out of the freezer, rinsed them with hot water and dried them on a paper towel. I placed the berries on top of the dough. I baked the pie for exactly 40 minutes at 180° on a timer, top-bottom mode. I didn’t add any more time, because the pie was completely ready. I took a very large mold and at the same time the cake itself turned out to be tall! There was enough for everyone) And how delicious it is! The structure is porous, airy. The consistency is soft, juicy, not dry at all. The berries did not sink, they remained on the surface. They complemented this amazing pie perfectly. I recommend the recipe, it’s very successful!
