PP pie with cottage cheese and apples in the oven

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make PP pie with cottage cheese and apples in the oven? Prepare your food. Take cottage cheese low-fat or with a small percentage of fat. Choose soft varieties; grained varieties will not work; they will remain lumps in the dough. You may need a little more flour, depending on the consistency of the dough. All products should be at room temperature.
STEP 2

Wash the eggs well and beat them into a bowl. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Add a pinch of salt - it will not only help the eggs beat better, but also enhance the taste of the pie. If you decide to add a sweetener, then add that too. Beat the eggs with a mixer until fluffy.
STEP 3

Add cottage cheese to the egg mixture. You can rub it through a sieve or beat it with an immersion blender along with the eggs. My cottage cheese is soft and homogeneous, I didn’t do this. Stir everything together until smooth.
STEP 4

Sift flour and baking powder into the resulting mass - this will not only remove any possible debris, but also saturate them with oxygen, which will make the cake more fluffier. Stir the dough. If it turns out too liquid, add a little more flour. The finished dough should become like thick sour cream. If the dough, on the contrary, is too steep, then pour in a little warm water or milk.
STEP 5

Wash the apples, dry and cut into thin slices.
STEP 6

Take a suitable baking dish. Any heat-resistant pan will work for this recipe. If you use a silicone mold, there is no need to coat it with butter or margarine. But it is better to lightly grease metal, ceramic or glass dishes with vegetable oil so that the baked goods do not burn. I have a round one, d 20cm. Pour the dough into the mold and smooth it out. Arrange the apple slices in a flower-shaped circle.
STEP 7

Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for 45 minutes to 1 hour. The exact time will depend on your oven and pan size. Determine readiness with a toothpick - it will come out dry from the center.
STEP 8

Remove the cooled pie from the mold and serve. Bon appetit!
