Potato casserole with chicken liver
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients and start cooking.
STEP 2
Chop a few cloves of garlic into fine crumbs with a knife.
STEP 3
Cut the onion into small cubes.
STEP 4
Peel the red carrots and cut into thin slices.
STEP 5
Clean the chicken liver from films, rinse well and cut into smaller pieces.
STEP 6
You can use any greens that you like best. I make it with a mixture of cilantro and dill. Wash the greens, dry and finely chop.
STEP 7
Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices.
STEP 8
In a deep bowl, beat the eggs, milk and cream. Don't forget to add a little salt and ground black pepper. This will be the casserole filling.
STEP 9
Take a frying pan or a suitable form, grease it with vegetable oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Arrange the chopped carrots.
STEP 10
Place potato slices on top of the carrots and sprinkle with onions. Sprinkle lightly with salt.
STEP 11
Sprinkle chopped herbs onto the onion layer and cover with a layer of chopped liver.
STEP 12
Then pour the entire mixture with egg-cream filling and place in an oven preheated to 200°C. Prepare the liver casserole in the oven for about 50 minutes. Make sure the top doesn't burn.
STEP 13
Remove the hot dish from the oven and let it cool slightly to make it easier to cut and remove from the pan.
STEP 14
Cut the finished casserole into portions and serve. The treat is very tasty and healthy. A hearty and nutritious dish. Goes great both on its own and as a snack. Cook and pamper your family. Bon appetit!
