Potato and meat sorcerers

STEP 1

Prepare your food. Peel the potatoes.
STEP 2

Grate the potatoes on a medium grater and, before they darken, squeeze out the juice.
STEP 3

Add egg, salt and pepper to potatoes.
STEP 4

Add starch.
STEP 5

Mix well.
STEP 6

Squeeze a clove of garlic into the minced meat, add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
STEP 7

If the potatoes still have a lot of juice and the mass is liquid, add a spoonful of flour and stir.
STEP 8

Pour oil into a frying pan and heat it up a little.
STEP 9

Lay out flat cakes from the potato mixture.
STEP 10

Place a flatbread of minced meat on top of the potatoes.
STEP 11

Cover with another layer of potatoes. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. If you have an electric oven, reduce the heat to low and cook until the bottom potato layer is golden brown.
STEP 12

Turn the sorcerers over to the other side and fry, covered, over low heat for another 10 minutes.
STEP 13

When the sorcerers are golden and the minced meat inside is cooked, remove them to a dish.
STEP 14

Witches are best eaten hot.
