Pork with squash, potatoes and bell pepper in a sleeve

A delicious hearty dish with Provencal flavor for a large company! And again I return to the sleeve... It has already firmly taken root in my kitchen - a kind of large saucepan (or baking dish - whatever you want) that preserves the benefits of food and which, moreover, does not need to be washed after cooking! And today I put my favorite potatoes with pork in my sleeve - everyone’s favorite win-win dish

Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 1 hr 15 mins
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients, wash the meat, peel and wash the vegetables

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

First of all, measure the required length of the sleeve and tie one edge - it will act as a baking dish

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

We cut the potatoes as desired, I like them in wedges in this dish

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

And transfer the chopped potatoes into a baking sleeve

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

    Pepper cut into strips

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

    Cutting onions

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

We cut the squash arbitrarily - add it as desired, it is not the main element and only complements the finished dish

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

We immediately put all the vegetables in the sleeve - very convenient, because the dishes remain clean

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

We cut the pork, today I wanted to cut it into strips, but I probably should have cut it larger - it was not very convenient to mix

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Add your favorite spices - today I have oregano, rosemary and ground black pepper, which almost any dish cannot do without.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

    Solim

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

    Add vegetable oil

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

    Pour in a little water

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Close the second edge of the sleeve and mix well right in the sleeve

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

We transfer the sleeve to a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 1 hour, after 30 minutes it is advisable to turn the sleeve over and send it back to the oven

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

To serve, chop fresh herbs - the ones you like, and today I will have parsley

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

The potatoes and pork are ready, now carefully, so as not to get burned by the steam, cut the sleeve and place on plates

  18. STEP 18

    STEP 18

    Bon appetit!

Nastenka is wonderful as always, and most importantly it’s simple and what my husband will definitely appreciate is washing less dishes (I do the cooking, and he does the dishes). And of course, we need to mention the herbs. But no matter how hard I try to make a selection of bags with herbs, everything seems to be out of place. I know they usually say: well, take what you like. But I want to learn: how to not buy up the entire store... to have what you need .

Mmm, pork in the sleeve, it’s very tasty. Very often I cook it in the sleeve, it turns out very juicy, and fragrant! As soon as you open the bag, everyone at home immediately flocks to the kitchen, as if on command.
