Pies with carrots made from yeast dough with kefir
Soft and fragrant pies with carrot filling. Carrot pies are cooked in the oven. The dough can be kneaded with both dry and compressed yeast. To prepare the filling you will need raw carrots, which are pre-stewed with added sugar. The sweetness of the filling can be adjusted to suit personal taste. Pies with carrot filling can be served with black tea, apple juice or compote.

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Prepare all products.
STEP 2

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.
STEP 3

Pour yeast into kefir and stir.
STEP 4

Add raw egg and salt.
STEP 5

Add half the flour and stir.
STEP 6

Pour in melted butter.
STEP 7

Add flour and knead the dough. Leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
STEP 8

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 9

Place carrots and sugar in a pan with water. Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the raw egg and stir quickly.
STEP 10

Knead the dough with your hands, roll it out and cut out circles. Spread the filling.
STEP 11

Seal the edges and place the pies, seam side down, on a baking sheet or in a pan.
STEP 12

The pies are baked in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. Grease hot pies with butter. Bon appetit!

I would especially like to note the background. In this photo, the ears are just right, because pies are a flour product.
