STEP 1

How to make a pie without eggs in the oven? Prepare your food. Take kefir of any fat content; old, sour kefir will work very well - the dough will rise better with this. Take it out of the refrigerator in advance to keep it warm. If you do not have time to do this, then heat the kefir in the microwave. Take odorless vegetable oil. Apples - sweet and sour varieties.
STEP 2

Pour the kefir into a bowl, add sugar. Mix them with a whisk. The sugar in a warm drink will quickly dissipate.
STEP 3

Pour vegetable oil into kefir and stir.
STEP 4

Sift the flour into another bowl. Add baking powder and a pinch of salt to the flour - it will act as a flavor enhancer. Stir until the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
STEP 5

Pour the liquid ingredients into the flour and mix everything with a whisk. You should get a homogeneous dough with the consistency of thick sour cream. If it seems too thick, add a little more kefir.
STEP 6

Wash and peel the apples. Cut each apple in half, remove the core with seeds and the place where the stem is attached. Slice each half into thin slices, but do not separate them.
STEP 7

Take a suitable baking dish. I have a detachable one, with a diameter of 20 cm. Cover the bottom with parchment. Grease it and the sides with a piece of butter. Pour the breadcrumbs into the pan and shake - they will stick to the butter, forming a protective layer that will prevent the cake from sticking. Pour the dough and smooth it out. Arrange the chopped apple halves in a flower shape. You can also simply mix the apple pieces into the dough, as in a regular charlotte.
STEP 8

Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180°C for 40 minutes to 1 hour. The exact time will depend on your technique and the size of the mold. Check readiness with a wooden skewer - inserted into the center, it will come out dry. Cool the cake and release it from the mold.
STEP 9

Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
