STEP 1

How to make yeast cake with rice, green onions and egg in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen. You can add something else to the green onions, for example, dill or parsley.

To prepare the dough, heat the milk until warm (35-38 degrees). The milk must be warm, but not hot, otherwise the yeast in it will die. STEP 3

Then add 150 grams of flour and mix everything. Cover with a towel and let sit for 30 minutes to allow the yeast to start working. Bubbles will begin to appear on the surface.
STEP 4

Melt the butter and cool. It shouldn't be hot. Add eggs and melted butter to the dough.
STEP 5

STEP 6

The dough turns out soft, plastic and almost does not stick to your hands. When the dough is almost ready, grease your hands and table with vegetable oil. This way the dough will not absorb excess flour. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and place in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.
STEP 7

At this time, prepare the filling. Boil the rice. Place it in boiling water and cook for 12-15 minutes until soft. Then drain in a colander and rinse with cold water. Cook the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Then drain the hot water and cool them by pouring cold water. Peel the cooled eggs. Wash and dry the onion greens.
STEP 8

Finely chop the eggs and mix with rice. Add chopped green onions to them. Add mayonnaise and salt. Mix everything.
STEP 9

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Divide the dough into 2 unequal parts. Distribute most of it into a baking pan (18-22 cm), forming small sides. Place the prepared filling.
STEP 10

Roll out a smaller portion of the dough into a circle, make small cuts and cover the pie. Trim off excess dough around the edges.
STEP 11

From the leftover dough you can make some kind of decoration on the top of the pie. Brush the surface with yolk and place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 25-30 minutes. Be guided by your oven.
STEP 12

The finished pie will increase in size and become a delicious golden color. Remove it from the oven, cool slightly and enjoy. Bon appetit!
