  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a pie Sprinkle with cottage cheese? Measure out the ingredients needed for the shortbread crumbs. The butter needs to be frozen, so remove it from the freezer just before cooking.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift the flour into a suitable sized bowl until the flour becomes fluffy. This will make the sand crumbs more crumbly.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Combine flour with sugar, baking powder and vanilla sugar, mix.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Grate the frozen butter into the dry mixture using a coarse grater.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Rub the cold butter into the flour mixture with your hands. Do this quickly to prevent the butter from melting from the heat of your hands. Place the shortbread in the refrigerator.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Prepare the pie filling. Take soft cottage cheese, without hard grains, not very wet, but not dry either. Vanilla sugar can be replaced with vanillin (at the tip of a knife).

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

To make the filling more tender, grind the cottage cheese in a blender, adding eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the amount of sugar to taste.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

The result is a homogeneous, smooth, tender curd mass.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Line the bottom of the baking pan with parchment. My mold diameter is 18 cm. Lightly grease the walls of the mold with vegetable oil. Remove the shortbread crumbs from the refrigerator and pour about 3/4 into the mold. Using light pressure, shape the bottom and sides of the pie.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Place the curd filling and smooth it out.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Sprinkle the remaining shortbread crumbs evenly over the filling.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180C for 30-35 minutes until lightly browned. The cooking time and mode may be different; be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven. Cool the finished pie and remove from the mold.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Cut the “Sprinkle” pie with cottage cheese into portions and serve. Bon appetit!

I really love the pie topping with cottage cheese! This is a delicacy from childhood; my mother often baked this pie. I also bake it often and always grate the butter to make the crumbs. There is nothing difficult about this, but this time I simply did not have time. Therefore, I put all the ingredients for the dough in a blender and beat for just a minute. It turned out to be a small crumb. The important thing is that the oil does not come into contact with your hands, especially since it is very hot in the kitchen in the summer. In general, I immediately put this crumb into a mold and lightly pressed it with my hand. I also made the filling in a blender, put everything in a bowl and beat until smooth. I immediately poured the mixture into the mold and covered it with the rest of the crumbs. I baked it for about 40 minutes. I took a wide pan, I like it when the cake is not tall. The cottage cheese topping turned out simply gorgeous! Delicate curd filling and crispy crumbs. After cooling in the refrigerator, the pie became even tastier. I recommend everyone to try it! Even a novice housewife can handle this wonderful pie)
