Pancakes with ham and cheese

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make stuffed pancakes with ham and cheese? First, prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough.
STEP 2
Sift the flour into a bowl. Thanks to sifting, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished pancakes will turn out more tender. Add salt, sugar and mix everything. Beat the egg into the flour.
STEP 3
Add milk in small portions, stirring each time. Knead into a homogeneous dough.
STEP 4
Leave the finished dough to rest for about 15 minutes. If you have time, it is better to leave the dough for 30 minutes or prepare it in advance, for example, in the evening, and fry the pancakes in the morning.
STEP 5
While the dough is resting, prepare the necessary ingredients for filling and serving. The amount of filling is designed for four large pancakes, and the dough makes more than four pancakes, so you can reduce the amount of ingredients if you wish. I served the pancakes with a tomato and arugula salad, you can go by your taste. Wash and dry the greens and tomatoes.
STEP 6
Cut the ham into cubes or thin slices, grate the cheese. Cut the tomatoes for the salad into slices. Make the dressing: mix oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper in a separate container. Place the tomatoes and arugula in a deep plate, pour in the dressing and mix everything.
STEP 7
Melt the butter in a microwave or water bath and cool it to room temperature. Add melted butter to the “rested” dough and mix.
STEP 8
You can start frying pancakes. Heat the frying pan well, grease it with a little oil if necessary. Pour the batter into the pan and spread the geo over the entire surface of the pan. Fry the pancakes on both sides until cooked.
STEP 9
Place ham and, if desired, chopped basil leaves on the prepared pancake.
STEP 10
Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
STEP 11
Roll the pancake into an envelope. Fill the rest of the pancakes in the same way. Before serving, fry the pancakes until crispy if desired.
STEP 12
Serve the ham and cheese pancakes hot with a vegetable salad.
STEP 13
Bon appetit!
