I baked an onion pie in a slow cooker. For the dough, I replaced some of the butter with margarine, but otherwise did not deviate from the recipe. Baking time depends on the model and power of the multicooker. I got to know my assistant well over the years of use))), first baked at a temperature of 180 degrees for 45 minutes, the filling was still liquid, then baked for the next 45 minutes at a temperature of 150 degrees. I didn’t immediately take out the pie, I opened the slow cooker and waited until the pie was just warm, then I easily took it out. In total, my pie took an hour and a half to bake. During this time, the filling set well. It turned out to be a very tasty pie! The sand base has acquired a light brown color with the aroma of roasted nuts or seeds, crumbly, not hard, and the filling is very tender and juicy. An excellent option for unsweetened pastries for tea. Thanks for the recipe, IrinaPrimorochka!

Onion pie is an excellent snack for strong drinks. Refrigerate the dough for an hour while we make the filling. But you can hold it longer, nothing bad will happen to it.

Thank you very much! I’ll be careful not to try it with strong drinks for now, but I’ll definitely appreciate it as a simple snack! :)

Beautiful photo! Looks appetizing. It's a pity that I won't try this. For 180 grams of flour, 200 grams of butter. I understand that it will drown. But it’s a bit heavy, the waist is no longer the same. Irene, do you happen to have another dough in your kit for this recipe? What would replace it? I was thinking maybe layers of Philo dough? or lavash for a quick option.. If you have any ideas, please write..
