Noodles with vegetables and Teriyaki sauce
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make noodles with vegetables and Teriyaki sauce? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Vegetables can be taken frozen or fresh. Use store-bought noodles or, if time permits, prepare them yourself at home using wheat flour. To do this, pour sifted wheat flour into a deep bowl and make a well in the center. Thanks to sifting, the flour will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished dough will be softer and more elastic.
STEP 2
Beat a chicken egg into a hole in the flour, pour in vegetable oil, add half a teaspoon of salt and pour in cold boiled water. Knead into an elastic and smooth dough. If the dough turns out runny, add a little more flour; if it’s too stiff, add a little water.
STEP 3
Roll the dough into a ball, wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. During this time, gluten will develop in the flour, and the dough will become more pliable and elastic.
STEP 4
Peel the onions and cut into cubes. To prevent the onion from stinging your eyes when slicing, rinse it and the knife with cold water.
STEP 5
Wash the carrots, peel and cut into cubes.
STEP 6
Wash the young zucchini and cut into small cubes. If the zucchini is quite mature, with a hard skin and large seeds, then it needs to be peeled and the core with seeds removed, and the pulp cut into cubes. Wash the bell pepper and remove the core and seeds. Cut the pulp into cubes or strips.
STEP 7
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into cubes. For spiciness, you can add a couple of cloves of garlic, peeling them and finely chopping them.
STEP 8
Pour olive oil into the pan. Place carrots and onions in heated oil and fry the vegetables over medium heat until soft. Add the remaining vegetables to the pan. Pour in Teriyaki sauce. Stir and fry everything together for another 10 minutes under the lid, stirring occasionally.
STEP 9
Roll out the finished dough into a thin layer and cut it into thin and long strips. Boil the noodles in salted water until tender, place them in a colander and let the water drain.
STEP 10
Place the noodles in the pan with the vegetables and stir. Sprinkle with chopped green onions. Keep the vegetables and noodles on the heat for a couple more minutes and turn off the heat.
STEP 11
Noodles with vegetables and Teriyaki sauce are ready. Bon appetit!
