STEP 1

How to fry mushrooms in a frying pan with sour cream and cheese? Prepare your food. In addition to champignons, any other mushrooms are also suitable. Take sour cream of any fat content, the main thing is that it is natural, without vegetable fats in the composition. Take vegetable oil for frying, refined, odorless.
STEP 2

Rinse the champignons carefully under running water, rinsing off any dirt with a sponge. Do not wet them too much - mushrooms quickly absorb water and become watery and tasteless. Dry clean mushrooms with paper towels.
STEP 3

Cut the mushrooms into large pieces. There is no need to chop them - when frying, they will greatly decrease in size.
STEP 4

Peel the onion and cut into thin feathers.
STEP 5

Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Take natural hard or semi-hard cheese with a rich taste - it will add a special piquancy to the dish.
STEP 6

Heat a frying pan over medium heat, pour vegetable oil into it. Add onion. Fry it, stirring, for several minutes until transparent.
STEP 7

Add mushrooms to onions. Salt and pepper them immediately. The salt will draw the liquid out of the mushrooms. Fry the champignons, stirring, until it evaporates. This will take 10-15 minutes. During this time, the mushrooms will settle greatly and decrease in volume.
STEP 8

Add sour cream to them, mix. To prevent the sour cream from curdling and flaking, immediately pour in a little hot water. Stir and boil the mushrooms with sour cream for about 5 minutes.
STEP 9

Then add the cheese to the pan. Stir and wait until the cheese melts. Once the sauce comes to a boil, turn off the heat under the pan.
STEP 10

Serve the mushrooms at the table, with or without a side dish. Bon appetit!
