Moldovan placintas

An amazing snack for every day and for serving on a holiday table. My mother introduced me to this “cooking recipe” as a child. She was taught to prepare such a wonderful snack for every day by her relatives from Moldova. My mother loves placindas with apples, we prepared them, but real Moldovan placindas are made with fillings such as raw pumpkin grated with sugar, with cottage cheese, with boiled potatoes and mixed with onions fried in lard.

Sorry, but it’s not entirely clear to me in the photo how to cut it in order to wrap everything up, so I understand how to wrap the edges, but to close the middle?

Marina, you need to make 8 shallow cuts in a circle (they should not reach the filling). Then each part needs to be pulled over the filling, stepping through one. That is, 1-3-5-7, 2-4-6-8 I haven’t made placinda for a long time, so I found a photo on the Internet:

Girls, the dish is ready! But for some reason this evening the Internet doesn’t want to help me post them again tomorrow afternoon, if anything, it definitely should! Thanks for your understanding
