Lazy lasagna in a frying pan with minced lavash
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make lazy lasagna in a frying pan? Very simple. First, prepare the necessary ingredients. Use minced meat to taste. It can be pork, beef or mixed. I prefer ground beef.
STEP 2
Start cooking by preparing the filling. Peel the carrots and cut into small cubes or strips.
STEP 3
Cut the tomato into small cubes. You can first peel the tomato by making cuts on it and putting it in hot water for a couple of minutes. You can also replace regular tomatoes with cherry tomatoes or chopped tomatoes in their own juice. If none of the above is available, 3 tbsp will do. l. tomato paste or ketchup.
STEP 4
Cut the green beans into small pieces if they are whole. If you are using already cut frozen beans, just defrost them first.
STEP 5
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
STEP 6
Finely chop the greens.
STEP 7
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the minced meat, stirring, until excess moisture has completely evaporated.
STEP 8
Add prepared tomatoes, green beans and carrots to the minced meat. Salt and pepper everything and fry, stirring, for another 4-5 minutes. Carrots and beans should be soft.
STEP 9
At the end, add the greens and stir. Remove the pan from the heat.
STEP 10
For the base you will need 2-3 sheets of lavash. Instead of Armenian lavash, you can also use 2-3 sheets of wheat roll. They are thicker and the bottom of the lasagna will not become so soggy.
STEP 11
Cut out circles from the pita bread. Two of them should be larger than the frying pan in which the lasagna will be formed, and the rest should be slightly smaller in diameter. I got 2 large circles and 4 smaller ones.
STEP 12
Grease the pan with oil. Lay out two large sheets of pita bread to form sides.
STEP 13
Place some of the minced meat on the pita bread and sprinkle generously with cheese.
STEP 14
Place a smaller sheet of lavash on top of the minced meat. Also distribute minced meat and cheese over it.
STEP 15
So, alternating layers of pita bread and filling, form lasagna until the minced meat is finished. If desired, reserve some grated cheese to sprinkle on top of the lasagna. Cover the last layer of minced meat with the last sheet of pita bread. Fill the dish with broth or plain water and sprinkle with remaining cheese if desired.
STEP 16
Place the pan on the stove, cover with a lid and fry the lasagna over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until the cheese has melted and the broth has evaporated. Be careful not to burn the lasagna on the bottom.
STEP 17
If you wish, you can put the frying pan (if it has a handle not made of fusible material) in a preheated oven on the grill mode so that the cheese on top gets a golden brown crust. Bon appetit!
