    Cut the peeled potatoes into slices about 1 cm thick. There is no need to cut it very thin so that the potatoes do not fall apart during cooking.

    Pour the cream and water into a small saucepan, place on the fire and bring to a boil. Pass the garlic through a press directly into the pan. Place chopped potatoes in boiling cream and cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes.

    Separately, cut the peeled onion into half rings. Finely chop the fresh dill. Grate the cheese.

    For baking, take any heat-resistant form. Grease the bottom and sides of the mold with vegetable oil. Layer creamed potatoes, dill and onions.

The recipe for layered potatoes with cheese in the oven attracted so much attention with its appetizing appearance that I immediately wanted to cook it. Peeled the potatoes and cut them into slices. I just changed the recipe a little: I didn’t boil it in cream, but baked it in cream. I chopped the garlic, finely chopped the greens, and grated the cheese on a fine grater. In a greased form, I laid out layers of potatoes, garlic, herbs, and cheese. Each layer was poured with cream. The top was sprinkled with cheese. I baked the potatoes in the oven at 180° for 40 minutes. The result was tender potatoes with a creamy taste: very tasty!!!! I recommend trying it, and thanks to the author Yulia M. for the recipe!

Thank you very much for the recipe, my child loved it, it’s very tasty! and easy to cook. I also added white mushrooms inside. You can also cut vegetables or add ready-made frozen vegetable mixtures.
