  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make khychin with meat in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can use any type of meat for the filling. It could be pork, beef or chicken. I will cook with beef meat. Grind the meat through a meat grinder or buy ready-made minced meat.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

To prepare the dough, mix kefir with soda, sugar and salt. Gradually add sifted flour and knead the dough. Do not add all the flour at once. You may need a little more or less flour than indicated in the recipe.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Be guided by the consistency of the finished dough. It turns out soft, plastic and does not stick to your hands. Leave it to sit for a while.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

At this time, start preparing the filling. Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop. Add the chopped onion to the bowl with the minced meat. Add a little salt and spices to taste. Mix all ingredients until smooth.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Divide the finished dough into 6 parts.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Roll each piece of dough into a flat cake and add some meat filling. Gather the dough in the center, tucking the filling inside.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Turn it seam side down and roll it into a flat cake along with the filling. Try to make sure that the dough does not tear, otherwise meat juice will leak out during frying. Do all the tortillas like this.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Fry the prepared flatbreads in a dry frying pan for 3-4 minutes on each side. Don't make a big fire. The cakes should have time to fry on the inside and not burn on the outside.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

The fried flatbreads will turn a delicious golden color. Remove the finished cake from the pan and immediately grease it with hot butter. Flatbreads taste better in oil - it will melt and imbue the dough with a creamy taste.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Stack the flatbreads on top of each other. Khychins with meat are ready! They are very tasty both hot and cold. Decorate the flatbreads with fresh herbs and serve. Bon appetit!

On a cold, hungry winter evening, this recipe for khychin with minced meat caught my eye, and my stomach made me understand that today they would be for dinner. Well, that's just bullshit. Preparing them turned out to be surprisingly simple: no eggs in the dough or minced meat. I decided to make it immediately for a liter of kefir, because baking with meat is a great success. On my own behalf, I only added dill to the dough, because it seems to me that greens only add “appetizing” to the dish, and I also replaced the onion with garlic, because... I prefer it. The flatbreads turned out to be appetizing and juicy, with a golden crust, and the bitten khychins literally ooze, because the minced meat did not give up all the juice to the frying pan, it was preserved inside, you will lick your fingers. The smell spread throughout the house and the whole family flocked to dinner. The result is obvious: after five minutes there was practically nothing left in the bowl, the household snapped up all the flatbreads as soon as I took them off the stove. I highly recommend trying to cook khychin with minced meat for your family. They will not leave anyone indifferent.
