Prepare the dough. Beat an egg into a bowl, add baking soda, salt, and sugar.

Gather the dough around the filling into a ball and pinch.

Place the dough knot side down and press it down to form a flat cake. Then roll it out thinly.
STEP 9

Place the flatbread on a hot frying pan greased with vegetable oil. Fry it on both sides. Grease the finished Imeretian khachapuri with butter while they are still hot. Bon appetit!
