Kefir pie in the oven, quick and easy

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to quickly and easily make a kefir pie in the oven? Prepare your food. Kefir is suitable for any fat content. It is better if it is warm, so remove the kefir from the refrigerator in advance. The same goes for eggs - with warm ingredients the pie will turn out more fluffier.
STEP 2
Melt the butter in any way convenient for you - in the microwave, on the stove, in a water bath. Read more about how to do this at the end of the recipe. Cool the melted butter.
STEP 3
Beat the eggs into a deep bowl. Start beating them with a mixer, first at low speed, then increase the speed. Add sugar in portions, stirring well after each addition. Add a pinch of vanillin or a packet of vanilla sugar. Beat the eggs until fluffy and light.
STEP 4
Add soda to kefir. Stir and leave to stand for 5 minutes. During this time, the soda will react with the acid contained in kefir, and carbon dioxide will be released, which will raise the dough. This will happen faster in warm kefir.
STEP 5
Pour kefir into the egg mixture and stir. A whisk will be enough. Pour in the melted butter. Mix well again.
STEP 6
Sift flour into a bowl. This will not only rid it of possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the baked goods more fluffy.
STEP 7
Whisk the flour into the dough. It should turn out homogeneous, without lumps, with the consistency of thick sour cream.
STEP 8
Take a suitable baking dish and grease it with butter - leftover melted butter works great. Pour the dough into the mold. I have a silicone one, 22cm in diameter. Wash the apples and cut them into quarters. Cut out the center and cut off the skin. Cut the quarters into wedges. It is better if they are thicker, as they will shrink a little during baking. Place the apples evenly over the entire surface of the pie in a pattern.
STEP 9
Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for 40-50 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven. Check readiness with a wooden skewer - it should come out dry from the middle. Remove the cake from the oven, cool and release from the pan.
STEP 10
Serve the pie with tea, coffee or milk. Bon appetit!
