Kefir pancakes with soda and eggs without yeast

STEP 1

Prepare the ingredients. Mix kefir with water and heat slightly. Put salt, sugar, and egg into the bowl in which you will prepare the dough. Mix.
STEP 2

Pour over heated kefir. Stir thoroughly until foam appears on top.
STEP 3

Then add flour. It is better to add flour gradually to make mixing easier. Stir thoroughly so that there are no lumps. I use a whisk to mix - it quickly mixes and breaks up lumps.
STEP 4

IMPORTANT: The result should be a thick mass that does not flow off the spoon, but comes off as a viscous, thick mass. If the resulting mass is not thick, then add more flour and bring the mass to a thick state. After the mass is ready, add soda and stir thoroughly again (DO NOT quench the soda)
STEP 5

Heat a frying pan with oil well. Place a tablespoon of dough into a frying pan and fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
STEP 6

It is best to fry the pancakes over medium heat so that they have time to bake. And to flip the pancakes, it is convenient to additionally use a fork to support them, then the oil will not splatter across the stove.
