  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Let's start with zucchini. From 2 zucchini, weighing about 500 g each, I get about 25 rolls. Cut the zucchini into slices about 3-4 mm thick. There is no need to cut very thinly, because during the frying process the zucchini will be “lost”: you will not feel it. There is no need to salt it, since both ham and cheese products are quite salty.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

For 2 zucchini we will need approximately 600 g of ham. You can buy ready-made cuts. Or you can save money and cut the ham yourself.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In addition, for the rolls we will need about 400 g of any hard cheese you like. You can buy ready-made slices or cut the cheese yourself.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Now you can roll the rolls. Place ham and cheese on the zucchini, leaving 4-5 cm free at the end of the slice, and roll up the roll tightly. You can secure the roll using kebab skewers or regular toothpicks.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Preparing the breading. In a separate bowl, lightly beat 4 medium eggs. Add 1/2 tsp. without a slide of salt, 50 ml of milk and any favorite seasoning. Mix everything. In addition, we will need 250-300 g of breadcrumbs.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

First, dip the rolls in the egg-milk mixture, and then generously bread them in breadcrumbs. Before you start breading the rolls, heat the oil.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The amount of oil depends on the size and depth of your pan. Remember that during the frying process the rolls should be almost completely covered with oil. Turning occasionally, cook the rolls for no more than 3 minutes. Of course, you can cook them longer, but in this case you won’t be able to “hear” the zucchini very much. Place the finished rolls on a napkin and let the excess oil drain off.

As promised, the rolls turn out very juicy, tender and appetizing. They are good both hot and cold. Bon appetit!
