How to make ham and cheese rolls? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to use Russian or Poshekhonsky cheese. It’s better to take the ham already sliced or ask them to cut it with a special device in the store - this way the slices will be thin and easy to roll. If this is not possible, then cut the ham yourself as thinly and evenly as you can. I got 14 thin slices.

    STEP 2

Pre-boil the eggs, cool and peel. Finely chop the eggs with a knife.

In a bowl, combine grated cheese, eggs and garlic. Season everything with mayonnaise. If you wish, you can add salt and pepper to the salad, but I usually do not add these spices to salads with mayonnaise.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Mix everything thoroughly. Adjust the consistency of the salad and the amount of mayonnaise to suit your taste. The consistency turned out to be dense, not liquefied, and holds its shape well. You can add more mayonnaise if you wish.

Form all other rolls in the same way.

I made ham rolls with cheese and garlic. I cut the ham into thin slices myself, but for the holiday table it is of course better to use factory-cut ham. The salad filling is prepared from available ingredients, quickly and easily. When assembling the rolls, I additionally placed a small leaf of green lettuce on a slice of ham, and then laid out the filling on it. This appetizer looks spectacular and bright on the table! And of course it is very tasty! Thanks for the recipe, Maria!

An amazing appetizer, very elegant, appetizing and filling. I often cook it not only for the holidays, but also for breakfast with the whole family. To add satiety and calories to the dish, I advise you to take a closer look at the mushroom filling. I choose canned champignons, cut them into small cubes and mix them with the egg and cheese mixture. Then I form the rolls. It turns out very tasty! You can lightly fry the resulting delicacy in a frying pan in a small amount of butter.
