STEP 1

How to make a classic Greek salad with chicken? Very simple. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can start cooking with dressing. Traditionally, olive oil is used for Greek salad, but you can use any vegetable oil.
STEP 2

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, ground black pepper and salt. Beat everything with a fork until smooth.
STEP 3

Now prepare all the other ingredients according to the list. You can replace the lettuce leaves with a ready-made mixture of lettuce leaves.
STEP 4

Salt and pepper the chicken fillet. Wrap the fillet in foil and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes until done.

Cool the finished fillet and cut into thin slices. If you wish, instead of baking, you can boil the fillet in salted water or fry in a frying pan.
STEP 6

Wash the cherry tomatoes, cut in half. You can replace the cherry tomatoes with regular tomatoes, which need to be cut into slices. The tomatoes need to be juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Wash the cucumbers, dry them and cut them into semicircles. The skin, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off.
STEP 8

Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds and stem. Cut the pulp into small cubes.
STEP 9

Cut the cheese into small cubes. You can replace the cheese with feta or sirtaki. Or other soft cheese, for example, mozzarella, Adyghe, curd or processed cream
STEP 10

Cut the red onion into thin rings. If you wish, you can marinate the onion in a mixture of vinegar and sugar for 20 minutes.
STEP 11

Remove the olives from the brine and dry.
STEP 12

Place washed lettuce leaves on a plate. Place slices of chicken fillet, cucumber and bell pepper, tomatoes and red onion on top.
STEP 13

Spread cheese and olives on top. Pour the dressing over the salad. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and you can serve the salad. Bon appetit!
