  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry mushrooms with onions and sour cream? Prepare your food. You can take any mushrooms - both wild and artificially grown. I have champignons. Frozen ones will also work. The preliminary preparation of mushrooms before frying will be different - if the champignons are simply washed under water, then the forest mushrooms will need to be boiled over time, depending on the variety. Sour cream is suitable for any fat content, the main thing is that it is natural and tasty.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onion, wash and dry. Cut the onion into quarter rings. To avoid irritating the mucous membranes of your eyes when cutting onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water. The cutting board will not absorb the unpleasant onion smell if you rub it with a slice of lemon before slicing.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the champignons carefully, trying not to wet the mushrooms too much - once saturated with moisture, they will become tasteless. Place them on a paper towel to absorb excess water. Cut the champignons quite large - into quarters or large slices. When frying, they will lose significant volume.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Pour vegetable oil on it for frying. Add onion. Fry it, stirring, for 3-4 minutes, until transparent.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then add the mushrooms to the onions. Salt and pepper them, stir. Cover the pan with a lid and turn the heat to low.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Fry the mushrooms, stirring, for about 15 minutes. From the salt they will immediately release a liquid that needs to be evaporated.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

When there is practically no liquid left, pour sour cream into the mushrooms. Mix the ingredients and leave the dish to simmer a little under the lid over low heat. Then turn off the fire.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Serve the fried mushrooms to the table. Bon appetit!

Fried mushrooms with onions and sour cream are always delicious! Our most common mushroom is champignons, so I fried them. First, I quickly rinsed and wiped with a dry towel. Then I cut the onions, and my daughter cut the mushrooms. Fry until golden brown. After adding sour cream to the frying pan, it turned brownish in color. This is because of the dark “skirt” under the hat. It didn't affect the taste at all. And our mushrooms turned out creamy, tender, and very tasty! And this dish is easy and simple to prepare. I served the champignons just like that with a white loaf and black Borodinsky. A great addition to dinner. Thanks so much for the recipe!
