Fish in potato scales
I have been preparing this fish for many years. My guests are always delighted! I advise everyone to try this delicious recipe. Surprise your family and guests!

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Wash the fish fillet, salt and pepper.
STEP 2

Slice the potatoes VERY thinly. I use a Burner grater. Dip the fish into the beaten egg.
STEP 3

Place potato slices in scales on one side of the fish fillet.
STEP 4

Very carefully place our fish, scales side down, in a frying pan heated with oil. If the “scales” spread out, we will also carefully push them back with a wooden spatula.
STEP 5

On top, directly in the frying pan, place a layer of “scales” on the other side of the fillet. I brush the potatoes with the remaining beaten egg by hand so that they don’t fall apart so much when turning them over.
STEP 6

The first side of our fish is fried, take a large spatula and carefully turn the fish over. Fry until golden brown. Ready!
STEP 7

Enjoy delicious fish and crispy potato crust!
