Fish cutlets for children
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make fish cutlets for children? Prepare all the necessary products according to the list. Peel the onion. I use pollock fillets that I previously defrosted on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Then I squeezed the liquid well with my hands and dried it with paper towels. If you have a whole fish, you need to clean it, remove the backbone, all bones and fins, remove the fish fillet from the skin and cut into slices.
STEP 2
Immediately soak white bread or a bun (you can use yesterday’s bread) in milk. I did not cut off the skin, as it will soak well in the milk and will not be felt.
STEP 3
Transfer the fish pieces to a blender. Add a pre-soaked and well-squeezed bun from the milk, chopped onion, salt to taste, a chicken egg and ground black pepper, but this is optional. Grind the contents of the blender into a homogeneous mince.
STEP 4
Transfer the minced fish into a deep bowl. If the minced meat turns out liquid, you can grind the oatmeal in a coffee grinder into flour and add a couple of spoons to the minced meat. Leave the container with minced meat in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to infuse.
STEP 5
Wet your hands in cold water, take some minced meat and form cutlets. The blanks should be the same size, oblong or round, as you like. Or please your baby by making fish-shaped cutlets from minced meat. Roll the pieces on both sides in good quality breadcrumbs.
STEP 6
Give the fish cutlets the desired shape and place them in a baking tray. To prevent the cutlets from burning, first cover the pan with baking paper (I have a baking mat). Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the pan with cutlets in it and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check to make sure they don't dry out.
STEP 7
How to decorate and serve fish cutlets? Together with your child, you can create a colorful and appetizing fairy tale on a plate. Place the golden “fish” on a suitable plate; the boiled shell pasta will not only serve as a side dish, but will also represent the waves of the sea. Sweet canned corn will add sunny colors to the dish. That's all. Bon appetit!
