    Mix the couscous with a pinch of salt and pour boiling water in a 1:1 ratio, cover with a lid and leave for 7-10 minutes.

    While the couscous is steaming, let's take care of the vegetables. We cut cherry tomatoes into 2-4 parts depending on size.

    Cut the onion into small cubes.

Oh! I always love your recipes so much! They are all so interesting! I myself recently started eating couscous, I appreciated all its advantages, now I try to cook with it more often. May I ask a question? It's kind of like risotto, right? Mozzarella, tomatoes, everything seems to be Italian. But I don’t understand why it’s called a salad?

MARIKUSYA, thank you, I’m glad you liked the recipe. Risotto is prepared using a completely different technology, and it is called a salad, since all vegetables are used without heat treatment. But at its core, it’s both a salad and a side dish rolled into one :)
