Couscous mozzarella and cherry tomato salad

Mix the couscous with a pinch of salt and pour boiling water in a 1:1 ratio, cover with a lid and leave for 7-10 minutes.
STEP 3
While the couscous is steaming, let's take care of the vegetables. We cut cherry tomatoes into 2-4 parts depending on size.

Cut the onion into small cubes.
STEP 5
We also cut half of the bell pepper into cubes.
STEP 6
Cut the mozzarella into cubes, and if you use small balls, you can leave them whole or cut them into 2 parts.
STEP 7
Finely chop the basil leaves.
STEP 8
In a bowl, mix cherry tomatoes, peppers, mozzarella, onion and basil. Add salt, pepper, 2 tbsp. olive oil and stir. Fluff the steamed couscous with a fork and add to the vegetables, stir. You can serve.

Oh! I always love your recipes so much! They are all so interesting! I myself recently started eating couscous, I appreciated all its advantages, now I try to cook with it more often. May I ask a question? It's kind of like risotto, right? Mozzarella, tomatoes, everything seems to be Italian. But I don’t understand why it’s called a salad?
