  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make Italian classic Caprese salad with mozzarella? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during the cutting process they can spread into a shapeless mass and ruin the appearance of the dish. Instead of vinegar, you can use balsamic cream sauce. It is more viscous in consistency and soft in taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into thin slices.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Remove the mozzarella ball from the brine, dry and cut into thin slices. The thinner you cut it, the tastier the salad will be. In general, thin cutting means a lot for this salad.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place slices of tomatoes, mozzarella and basil leaves on the dish, slightly overlapping, alternating. You can lay it like mine, or you can lay it in a circle.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Drizzle everything with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste. Caprese salad is ready. Bon appetit!

Thanks for the recipe! 😘🌷This is the first time I’ve made such a salad myself😊I didn’t have balsamic vinegar and olive oil at home, so I mixed regular vinegar (1/2 tbsp) with soy sauce (1 tbsp) and poured it with refined, regular sunflower oil 🤭 And basil I don’t have green))) It turned out to be a delicious salad!!!😋👍
