Continuing the theme of quick delicious cakes, I wanted to share another photo review. I used to make regular honey cake all the time using a quick recipe, but this time I decided to make a chocolate honey cake. The cooking principle is the same, only cocoa is added to the dough. It is also very quick and easy to prepare. The only thing is that this also applies to a regular honey cake, no matter how much I try to distribute the dough on a baking sheet, the cake ends up a little different in height. Therefore, when I cut the cake into 4 parts, I try to put these parts on top of each other so that the cake is the same height))) I didn’t have boiled condensed milk, so I made changes to the recipe and made the already familiar cream from 400 g of fat sour cream and 70 g of powdered sugar. I don’t weigh out the sour cream, I just use fattier ones. It turned out to be an excellent cake, very tasty, very tender, with a pronounced taste of chocolate and honey. And most importantly, it’s quick and easy to prepare! I decorated the cake with currants and crumbs from the cakes. Yes, someday I will also prepare a large cake, bake all the cakes separately, prepare cream, ganache for the cake, decorate it with fruits or mastic figures... but for now, when, unfortunately , I don’t have time for that, I’m making these cakes. And I am very grateful to the author for sharing such simple, delicious recipes with us. Ira, I recommend this to everyone! And here is my cake)))

Hello IRA! I made a cake for my husband’s birthday just the way I wanted, we tried it. My husband said “delicacy”, which translates to “very tasty”.
