Chicken with potatoes in foil in the oven

STEP 1

How to bake chicken with potatoes in foil in the oven? First of all, prepare all the products according to the list. Instead of chicken breast, you can use the flesh cut from the thigh or legs, as well as turkey breast. Take homemade or purchased adjika. Instead of leeks, it is permissible to use regular onions, but with leeks the finished potatoes are softer in taste and more tender.
STEP 2

Rinse the chicken breast and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut the fillet into small pieces.
STEP 3

Add soy sauce, adjika and your favorite dry spices. I used chicken seasoning and a pinch of ground paprika. There is no need to add salt at this stage; soy sauce and adjika are enough to make the meat salty. Mix everything well, cover with a lid or cling film and place in the refrigerator to marinate for an hour. I sometimes leave it for 15-20 minutes and the breast also turns out very tasty.
STEP 4

Peel the potatoes, rinse in clean water and dry. Cut the potatoes into wedges.
STEP 5

Chop the leek into thin rings or half rings and add it to the potatoes. Add finely chopped or pressed garlic, salt to taste and a mixture of ground peppers. Mix everything.
STEP 6

Cover the baking dish with foil so that the edges protrude slightly (as in the photo).
STEP 7

Spread the potatoes out in an even layer.
STEP 8

Place marinated chicken pieces on top.
STEP 9

Take a second sheet of foil and cover the potatoes and meat with it.
STEP 10

Pinch tightly on all sides. Place the pan in the oven and bake for about an hour at 180 degrees. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.
STEP 11

Next, remove the top sheet of foil and return the potatoes and meat to the oven. Leave until the pieces of meat are browned. Usually 10-15 minutes is enough.
STEP 12

Garnish the finished dish with herbs and serve until it cools down.
