Chicken with pineapple in sweet and sour sauce

STEP 1
cut the meat into small pieces
STEP 2
add salt, add soy sauce and marinate for 40 minutes
STEP 3
cut the carrots into thick quarters, blanch in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, drain in a colander

cut the pineapple in half, remove the pulp
STEP 5
finely chop the flesh of half a pineapple

cut the bell pepper into 1x1 cm cubes
STEP 7
cut 3 ginger rings (from the thick part) and cut into strips
STEP 8
Roll the meat in starch and fry until cooked. better to cook in a wok
STEP 9
Place the finished meat on a napkin to remove excess oil
STEP 10
fry ginger in hot oil for 1-2 minutes
STEP 11
add blanched carrots to the ginger, fry for 2 minutes, then pepper, fry for 2 minutes, then pineapple
STEP 12
salt, add sugar, add ketchup. the sauce should thicken slightly (ketchups usually contain starch)
STEP 13
Place the meat in the sauce, stir and turn off the heat. let it sit and soak
STEP 14
Place the finished meat and vegetables into empty pineapple halves and serve with hash (you can also eat it with forks)

if you don’t have fresh pineapple, you can cook with canned pineapple, and simply serve the finished dish on a plate
