Chicken pie with potatoes and mayonnaise

STEP 1

First, prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash and peel (potatoes, onions). For convenience, we put them in different containers.
STEP 2

Cut the chicken (fillet) into thin strips. Then we divide each strip into another half.
STEP 3

Place the chopped chicken and onion (in half rings) in a pan, add mayonnaise and salt. Stir and leave to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 4

Mix the dough. Add 4 cups of flour, 1 tsp of soda and 1 cup of kefir to the container. Mix until smooth in a container.
STEP 5

On the surface, bring the dough to a homogeneous mass. Place in a bag and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 6

Divide the finished dough into two equal parts.
STEP 7

Grease a baking sheet with butter. We grease very carefully so that the cake does not burn.
STEP 8

Roll out the first part of the dough with a rolling pin into a baking dish (in my case, it's a baking sheet).
STEP 9

Place the dough on a baking sheet. Place the potatoes, pre-cut into circles, on the dough in one layer.
STEP 10

On a layer of potatoes we place the chicken, which has already been marinated with mayonnaise and onions. We spread it so that the entire surface is evenly filled with chicken.
STEP 11

Place the remaining sliced potatoes on the chicken layer. We also distribute it evenly.
STEP 12

Place the rolled out second part of the dough on a layer of potatoes. Seal the edges so that the juice does not leak out. We make small holes at the top.
STEP 13

Brush the pie with egg and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 1 hour. Monitor the temperature - after 30 minutes, set the oven temperature to 150 degrees (so that the cake does not burn).
STEP 14

That's all - the pie is ready. You need to give it some time to cool down.
