I ended up with a very free improvisation of this recipe. I replaced the chicken with turkey and added a slice of ham. And my son finished what he started - and pulled tomatoes and cabbage out of the finished sandwich. It's good that I didn't notice the onion. In general, a delicious sandwich, especially since all the ingredients can be easily replaced with anything! Thanks for reminding me about such a snack!
