STEP 1

How to make PP cheese waffles in a waffle iron? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace rice flour with any gluten-free flour: oatmeal, corn flour, etc. You can also make waffles from regular flour instead of whole grain flour. But keep in mind that you may need more or less flour of other types.
STEP 2

Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Any cheese is suitable for this dish - hard, semi-hard. The main thing is that it is tasty, of high quality, without milk fat substitutes and melts well.
STEP 3

Wash the dill, shake off moisture and chop finely. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, parsley, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.
STEP 4

In a bowl, combine the egg, kefir and both types of flour. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk until smooth.
STEP 5

Add grated cheese, chopped herbs, salt and pepper to the dough.
STEP 6

Mix everything thoroughly again. You should get a viscous but slightly fluid dough. If the dough is too thin, like for pancakes, add a little more flour. If it is too dense, dilute it with a small amount of kefir to the desired consistency.
STEP 7

Preheat the electric waffle iron. Pour in some batter and bake the cheese waffles for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. If they stick to the surface, you can grease the waffle iron with vegetable oil before baking each waffle. Nothing stuck to me even without oil. You can bake waffles in a multi-baker.
STEP 8

Place the finished cheese waffles on a plate and serve. Bon appetit!
