    STEP 1

How to make bulgur with pork and vegetables in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Rinse all vegetables well in running water to remove contaminants. Green peas can be used either fresh or frozen. It is not necessary to defrost it first.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the pork meat into pieces and fry over high heat with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil. The pieces of meat should be slightly browned.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Finely chop the onion. Carrots can be cut into large pieces and grated.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add the onions and carrots to the frying pan with the meat and fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes. The vegetables will develop a characteristic aroma.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Then add chopped bell peppers and tomatoes. The cutting form can be any. Navigate according to your taste.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Rinse the bulgur several times in cold water. Then drain all the water from it and place the bulgur in the pan.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Fill everything with hot water. Why hot? In this case, there will be no temperature difference for the meat and all ingredients will continue to cook evenly.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Spread the green peas over the entire surface. Add a little salt and spices to taste. Bring to a boil. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

During this time, the bulgur will absorb all the water and become soft. And the meat will have time to fully cook.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Remove the pan from the heat, place the dish on plates and serve! Bon appetit!

Or you can prepare a two-in-one dish by adding chicken.

Bulgur with pork meat and vegetables in a frying pan is hearty, tasty and very unusual. We are used to plain rice or regular wheat cereal. But not everyone cooks bulgur, and not everyone has such grains in their house. I decided to cook this dish for dinner. I used large bulgur (there are also medium and finely ground), carrots, onions and frozen green peas. I replaced the tomato with tomato paste, and the bell pepper with paprika flakes. I also added dried basil as a spice; it goes well with pork. First, I fried the pork in pieces, then added chopped vegetables and fried everything together. Added peas, tomato paste, spices, and simmered a little. I poured in the cereal, poured in water and simmered under the lid for 30 minutes until done. A wonderful dish. The bulgur was well cooked and the meat came out tender and juicy. It's very easy to prepare and quite quick. The combination of vegetables, meat and bulgur is wonderful. The whole family ate it for dinner. Very tasty and filling. Great recipe! Many thanks to the author)

Our family really loves bulgur, in all its variations. So for dinner I decided to cook bulgur with pork and vegetables in a frying pan. I prepared the necessary ingredients according to the list, cut the pork meat into small cubes, and fried it in a frying pan over high heat. I cut the vegetables into cubes - onions, carrots and red bell peppers. I added vegetables in portions so that they were fried with the meat and not stewed from excess moisture. Next, I added the washed bulgur and filled it with hot water, as recommended by the author of the recipe. I didn’t have green peas on hand, so instead of peas I used canned corn, I really love it in combination with cereals (bulgur, buckwheat or rice). I added spices to the dish - salt, dried garlic, freshly ground pepper and Italian herbs. I left the dish to simmer under the lid for about 30 minutes until cooked, during which time the bulgur will absorb all the moisture and become soft. The dish turned out very tasty, filling and aromatic. Ideal for both lunch and dinner. Thanks to the author for the recipe, I will definitely cook it again!
