    Vegetables must be prepared for cooking in a cast iron pot. Grate carrots and beets. Chop the cabbage into long strips. Cut the potatoes, bell pepper and tomato into medium pieces. Cut the ribs into small portions. The remaining ingredients can be left whole.

    Place all the prepared vegetables and meat in a cast iron pot in layers, seasoning with pepper and salt to taste. Don't forget to add bay leaf and allspice. Fill with clean water in an amount of about 4 liters.

    Place the cast iron in the oven for at least 3 hours. But if you leave it to simmer overnight it will only get better. In the morning you can enjoy a wonderful rich hot soup. Bon appetit!!!
