Banana pie in the oven
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make banana pie in the oven? Prepare your food. You can reduce or increase the amount of sugar - it will depend on the sweetness of the bananas. You can take more bananas, depending on their size.
STEP 2
Wash the eggs well and dry. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Beat the eggs into a bowl. Add vanilla. Start beating the eggs at low mixer speed. When foam appears, start adding sugar in portions and increase the mixer speed.
STEP 3
Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. The fluffiness of the pie will depend on how well they are whipped. Wash the lemon well with baking soda. Grate the zest - the upper part of the peel - using a fine grater. Don't touch the white part, it's bitter. Lemon will add a pleasant citrus aroma to baked goods, but you don’t have to add zest, it will still be delicious.
STEP 4
Sift flour and baking powder into eggs. By doing this you will not only remove possible debris, but also saturate it with oxygen, which will make the baked goods more magnificent.
STEP 5
Gently stir in the flour using upward and downward digging movements. A silicone spatula is best - it will not destroy the structure of the beaten eggs. You should get a homogeneous flowing dough. Remember that you may need less or more flour, you can read more about this in the article, the link to it is at the end of the recipe.
STEP 6
Take any suitable baking dish. I have a silicone one, size 20*9cm. There is no need to lubricate silicone; it is better to cover a regular one with parchment or grease it with oil. Pour the dough into the mold. Peel the banana, cut in half and place cut side up on the dough. You can also place bananas on the bottom or slice them and stir them into the batter.
STEP 7
Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on its size. Your baking time and temperature may vary. You can read more about the operating features of ovens in the article about ovens. The link is at the end of the recipe. Check doneness with a wooden skewer - it will come out dry from the center.
STEP 8
Cool the finished pie and remove from the mold. serve. Bon appetit!
