    Peel the onion, rinse and cut into half rings or a little smaller. Cut the meat into small pieces.

    Place the chopped meat and onion in a separate bowl. Add mayonnaise. Add a little salt and spices to taste. For spices I added ground pepper and a little paprika. When adding salt, keep in mind that mayonnaise already contains salt.

    Mix all ingredients and leave to marinate for at least 30-40 minutes.

    Cut the peeled potatoes into pieces and mix with the meat. It will also be covered with mayonnaise, which will allow it not to dry out during baking.

    Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place the meat and potatoes. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-50 minutes. When baking, use your oven as a guide.

For dinner I prepared baked meat with potatoes. I love these dishes because the meat and side dish are cooked together and the oven does all the work. For this dish, I took a piece of pork with streaks of fat and cut it into thin slices. I took young potatoes, washed them well and cut them into 2-3 pieces. I left very small tubers whole. Such simple dishes give room for imagination, you can add something to your taste) I decided to add more spices: smoked paprika, potato seasoning, dried basil and dill. It turned out not only tasty, but also very aromatic! I had more potatoes, so the baking time increased significantly. It took 1.5 hours in total. During this time I mixed it twice. The potatoes and meat were soaked in mayonnaise and spices and were not dry at all. They turned out soft, juicy and the whole family loved them!
