The recipe for bagels with poppy seeds in chocolate glaze uses ready-made yeast dough, so the recipe is interesting mainly for the preparation of the poppy seed filling and the method of shaping the bagels. As for the filling, at first it didn’t seem sweet enough to me, so in addition to honey, I added a spoonful of sugar to it, after which the filling became liquid and had to be boiled down. It may not be very healthy to heat the honey, but it turned out delicious - the thick and very sweet caramelized poppy seeds with the unsweetened dough went perfectly together. As for the molding, I really liked it - simple and unpretentious, and the rolls turned out nice, but I had to pinch the ends harder, since the poorly sealed rolls opened up during baking. Despite all these nuances, the poppy seed rolls turned out very tasty; we didn’t even have to cover them all with chocolate glaze. Thank you for the recipe, I will definitely make this poppy seed filling again and, of course, I will use the same molding method!

You can make your own yeast dough. milk or water a pack of dry yeast sugar, flour. knead the dough and bake the rolls. first you need to check the yeast in a glass of milk or warm water, add a packet of yeast and sugar and wait until the yeast rises, then you can knead the dough and let it rise three times. Any filling doesn’t have to be poppy seeds, you can have jam, boiled condensed milk. Well, it’s up to you to decide whether to pour chocolate on it or not.
