The most important advantage of a grill pan, which is why all housewives buy it, is the presence of convex stripes on the bottom. Thanks to them, the cooking technology can be said to be “healthier”. All the oil that is used in the process will remain at the bottom. And the dish will not absorb anything unnecessary. It turns out that the harmful carcinogens released by the oil during frying will not get into it.
It is very difficult to burn anything on a grill pan. All the liquid released during the cooking process flows into the grooves and evaporates from there.
Due to the fact that the food does not come into direct contact with the entire surface of the cookware, much less fat is required for frying. Many people don't use them at all.
Like any other frying pan, this one can not only fry, but also bake, and even stew if you really want to. The second advantage of this cookware is its thickness, thanks to which the temperature is well maintained and the dish cooks evenly and quickly. Due to the presence of voids between the product and the hot metal, the meat (if we cook it) is perfectly cooked inside. This is facilitated by the steam emanating from the oil and juices secreted by the meat.
