STEP 1

How to fry squid in a grill pan? Very simple. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list.
STEP 2

If the squids are frozen, defrost them first, but not completely - frozen squids are easier to clean. I have whole squids, with tails. But you can also buy already prepared, cleaned, frozen tubes without tails. You just need to defrost them. STEP 3

Place the squid in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. After this, clean them of the top skin, internal films, remove the chitinous plate and entrails. Rinse thoroughly. If desired, you can cut the squid into portioned slices.
STEP 4

Place the cleaned squids in a bowl, pour in soy sauce, lemon juice, salt and ground black pepper to taste. If your soy sauce is quite salty, then you can not add salt at all, or add a minimal amount to avoid oversalting. Mix the squid with spices and leave to marinate for 30-40 minutes.
STEP 5

Lightly grease a grill pan with vegetable oil and heat over high heat. Add the marinated squid and fry until a clear pattern appears on the grooved surface of the pan, about 2 minutes. Then turn over to the other side and fry until charred on the other side. It is better to cook in a non-stick pan. STEP 6

Transfer the finished grilled squids to a plate and serve hot or cold, garnished with herbs. Bon appetit!
