STEP 1
How to make fried whey pies without yeast with cheese? First, prepare the ingredients for the test. All ingredients should be at room temperature, so remove them from the refrigerator in advance. Take high-quality, natural dairy products without herbal additives.
STEP 2
Warm the whey slightly using a water bath or any other method. Pour it into a suitable bowl and add sour cream. Stir.
STEP 3
Beat raw eggs into the mixture and mix until smooth. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush.
STEP 4
Pour in vegetable oil. It is better if it is refined and odorless.
STEP 5
Add sugar.

Add salt. And mix well.
STEP 7
In a separate bowl, mix the sifted flour and baking soda. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baked goods will turn out airy and rise well during baking.

Combine flour and egg mixture. Add flour one spoon at a time, stirring it gently so that no lumps form. Be prepared that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough.

Finely chop the washed and dried dill and add it to the dough. You can also use any other greens or not use them at all.

Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.

Add the cheese to the dough, at this stage you can add more flour if necessary. The dough should be of such a consistency that it is easy for you to work with your hands.

The dough is ready. Cover it with a towel and set it aside. In the meantime, get on with the filling.

Prepare the ingredients for the filling. I took pickled suluguni and Adyghe cheese. If desired, they can be replaced with any other soft cheeses.

Grate the suluguni on a coarse grater.

Also grate the Adyghe cheese. Instead of Adyghe cheese, you can use feta cheese or other pickled cheese.

Add some dried basil, mint and herbes de Provence to the cheeses. You can add your favorite fresh herbs: basil, cilantro, parsley, or do without it - depending on who you like.

Stir, no need to add salt, as the cheeses are already salted. The filling is ready.

Sprinkle the table with flour and place a piece of dough on it with a spoon. To prevent the dough from sticking, you can moisten the spoon with water.

Using your hands, form the dough into a flat cake.
STEP 20
Place the filling on the tortilla and carefully seal the edges. The dough is very delicate, keep this in mind. Form all the pies in this way.
STEP 21
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove. Fry the pies on both sides until golden brown over medium heat. Place them in the pan, seam side down.
STEP 22
To get rid of excess fat, remove the pies from the pan onto paper towels.
STEP 23
