STEP 1
How to make vegetable stew with potatoes in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. The proportions and quantity of selected vegetables can be slightly changed to suit your taste.
STEP 2
Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them in running water to remove any dirt. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. To avoid irritating the mucous membranes of your eyes when cutting onions, rinse the onion and knife with cold water.
STEP 3
For cooking, take a deep frying pan. Heat it until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. Add chopped onions and carrots. Fry for 2-3 minutes over low heat. During frying, the vegetables will become a little softer.
STEP 4
Peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into large pieces. Place the chopped potatoes in a frying pan.
STEP 5
Cut the bell pepper into strips and add it to the pan. Mix everything. Continue frying for another 3-5 minutes.
STEP 6
Meanwhile, cut the zucchini into cubes. The skin of a young zucchini is soft and does not need to be peeled.
STEP 7
Place the chopped zucchini in the pan and add some hot water. Add salt and spices to taste. Mix everything and simmer covered over low heat for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 8
Remove the stem from fresh tomatoes and cut them into small pieces.
STEP 9
When the potatoes and zucchini are soft, add the chopped tomatoes to the pan. Simmer everything together for another 5-7 minutes and remove the pan from the heat. Add some garlic for flavor.
STEP 10
Leave the vegetable stew with potatoes under the lid to steep for a while. Divide into plates and serve hot. Bon appetit!
