Turkey fricassee with vegetables
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make turkey fricassee? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can take any turkey fillet - from the breast or from the thigh. Take strong, large tomatoes so that they more or less retain their shape and do not spread out during stewing. You need cream with a fat content of 20%. If you wish, you can add one onion. It needs to be peeled and cut into small cubes.
STEP 2
Rinse the turkey fillet thoroughly, dry it and cut into medium cubes.
STEP 3
Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stems and cut into small pieces.
STEP 4
Cut the tomatoes into medium cubes.
STEP 5
Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife. To speed up the cooking time, you need to prepare the ingredients not immediately, but as needed: while the garlic is frying, chop the turkey; while the turkey is frying, chop the vegetables.
STEP 6
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add the garlic and fry, stirring, over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes until a bright aroma appears. If you are going to add onions to the dish, then you need to put it together with the garlic and fry everything together. If you are worried that the garlic will burn, then add it at the end of step 7 and fry along with the meat for another 1-2 minutes. It is important to choose the right frying pan; this article will help you figure this out; the link is at the end of the recipe.
STEP 7
Add the turkey to the pan and stir-fry for about 15 minutes or longer until the meat is golden brown. If desired, you can sprinkle the meat with additional turkey spice blend. Only if they already contain salt and pepper, then you need to add additional salt and pepper to the dish (step 10) with caution, having first tasted it.
STEP 8
Add tomatoes, bell peppers and green peas to the turkey, stir and fry everything together for another 3 minutes.
STEP 9
Pour cream over everything and heat until thickened, 3-5 minutes.
STEP 10
At the end, add salt, pepper and stir. Then remove the finished fricassee from the heat.
STEP 11
Place the finished fricassee on plates, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve. Bon appetit!
