STEP 1
How to make squid salad with avocado at home? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace boiled squids with canned ones. You can replace or supplement the vegetable part to your taste. You can replace mayonnaise with sour cream.
STEP 2
Clean the squid from the skin, internal films, remove the chitinous plate and entrails. If the squids are frozen, defrost them first, but not completely - frozen squids are easier to clean. Boil the squid in salted boiling water for 1-2 minutes, no longer, otherwise they will become rubbery and tasteless. Cool the finished squids and cut into strips.
STEP 3
Wash the cucumber, dry it and cut it into quarters. The skin, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off. I didn't cut off the skin.
STEP 4
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Peel each half and cut into small pieces. ! It is important to peel the avocados in this order. After all, avocado contains essential oils and after removing the peel the fruit becomes slippery. You may cut yourself when cutting it in half.
STEP 5
Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stalks and cut into small cubes or cubes.
STEP 6
Wash the dill, shake off moisture and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, for example, parsley, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.
STEP 7
In a salad bowl, combine avocado, cucumber, squid, bell pepper and herbs. Season the salad with mayonnaise, add salt and pepper to taste if necessary and stir. I usually don't add spices to salads with mayonnaise.
STEP 8
Serve the avocado and squid salad immediately. Bon appetit!
