Spinach pancakes stuffed with cheese, garlic and nuts

Green pancakes will surprise any gourmet with their color and taste! The recipe calls for 100g frozen spinach. I used fresh spinach and it turned out more than normal, about 200 g, which is why it turned out not light green but deep green, with a pronounced spinach taste. I added a handful of walnuts to the filling which added a wonderful nutty accent.

Oh, how foresty, bright green they turned out, and only 100g of spinach, they showed the color so well. The filling is my favorite, Anaitochka - you are a fakir, you showed everything so deliciously, it’s easy to imagine their taste, yes, girls, you will all improve your skills, I see some other chocolate pancakes (I’m in a hurry to see them)))

Yes, Shurochka, Irishechka, I wanted to be original for Maslenitsa, and to share with you. When I saw these pancakes on one of the blogs, I was fired up with desire and did not calm down until I cooked them and regretted them. I put in more than 100 g of spinach; as a child, I was very interested in the color of the pancake and I wanted it to be dark green. And the one that I saw was light green. Well, I got what I wanted. And the taste of spinach in the pancakes was felt as a spicy accent. My cheese was salty, so the pancakes became tastier the next day, giving up their saltiness to the dough. Shura, I completely forgot, my friend just left me, and I forgot to treat her with chocolate pancakes. Oh, well, okay, I didn’t leave her hungry

Anahit, the pancakes look luxurious! Would you like a little advice on how to make them a little differently next time? Add salted or smoked salmon to the filling (of course, you need to grind it with a blender so that the color is evenly distributed). And the combination of shades will make it even more interesting, and the taste of salmon and spinach goes well together.

Magnago, I take the advice and imagine how “cool” the red-green spirals will look. Well, the taste of this combination is mysterious to me, but intriguing. Thank you, and Mag, dig deeper, it’s not far from red caviar, huh? Also an option
