Spaghetti with hard cheese, milk and cream

STEP 1

To prepare spaghetti with cream cheese sauce you will need: butter, egg (yolk), milk, hard cheese, flour, salt, pepper, cream and spaghetti.
STEP 2

Melt butter in a frying pan.
STEP 3

Add flour and immediately mix thoroughly so that no lumps form. You can add flour in parts and stir at the same time. Then the risk of lumps forming will be minimized.
STEP 4

Pour milk into the pan little by little. Salt and pepper the sauce to taste. Boil for about five minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce should thicken.
STEP 5

Boil water for spaghetti in a saucepan. Boil pasta until cooked according to instructions. Add salt at the end. For this recipe, I cooked the spaghetti for six minutes after returning the water to a boil. That is, two minutes less than the time indicated on the package. If done correctly, the pasta will be ready at the same time as the sauce.
STEP 6

Separate the yolk from the white. No protein needed. Lightly beat the yolk with a fork. Then add cream and stir the mixture again.
STEP 7

Add the cream and yolk to the pan. Mix.
STEP 8

Grate the cheese on a fine grater and pour into the pan. Stir until cheese melts.
STEP 9

Drain the spaghetti in a colander and transfer to the pan. Mix with sauce. Serve immediately.
